The married couple set up iC2 PrepHouse — Singapore’s only institution providing structured educational and rehabilitative programmes for children and young people with visual impairment. By teaching coping skills in everyday living, iC2 PrepHouse works to enable children with low vision to stay in mainstream schools and prepare them for independent and fulfilling lives.
The couple also have plans to leave a legacy gift. “We have so little time that we tend to overlook the needs of the less fortunate,” says founding board director Dr Looi. “We would love if our story inspires people to consider our communities, and begin thinking about how they too can make a difference, even after they’re gone.”

- Your donation is available for grantmaking to your preferred causes and charities over a period of time

- Your donation is held at CFS in perpetuity and invested. Payout from the investment is directed to charitable causes of your choice.
