How do I sign up?
PRUSafe Sports can be purchased in the Pulse by Prudential app via its e-store, PRUShoppe. To download the app, access the Apple App Store or Android Play Store here and create a login.
What coverage does PRUSafe Sports provides?
PRUSafe Sports provides protection against bone fracture and daily income (in the event of hospitalisation in Singapore) so customers can pursue their fitness goals without worries.
Who is eligible for PRUSafe Sports? Are there any exclusions?
PRUSafe Sports is eligible for all Singapore Citizens, Permanent Residents, or Foreigners with valid passes who are 18-59* years old. You will need to have your SingPass login details to sign up.
We do not cover high-risk activities such as boxing, wrestling, martial arts, motocross, or military / police service.
The following are examples of activities that are covered for leisure and recreational purposes only:
- winter sports
- ice hockey
- horse riding
- playing polo
- canoeing
- sailing
- windsurfing
- mountaineering
- rock climbing
- caving
- potholing
- hunting
- sky diving
- parachuting
- hand gliding
- scuba diving

When will the coverage end?
PRUSafe Sports provides coverage for a year and is renewable every year until the cover end date. However, PRUSafe Sports will terminate:

- When the life assured dies
- When you cancel the policy via the cancellation function made available in the Pulse App within the 14-day review period;
- If you fail to pay the premium when they are due;
- On the cover end date as shown in your certificate of life assurance;
- When you reach the maximum age limit; or
- When we decide not to renew the policy,
whichever event happens first.
Note: Premium rates and policy renewal are not guaranteed.
Do I have to go for a medical check-up?
No, you will not be required to go through any medical check-up to sign up for PRUSafe Sports.
Do my premiums change over time?
No, the renewal premium for PRUSafe Sports is a flat rate of S$58 for both male and female life assured aged 18 to 59 years old*. You may refer to your product summary for the premium amount.
However, do note that premium is not guaranteed and may be adjusted based on claims experience. Prudential reserves the right to vary premium at any time by giving 30 days’ written notice to the policyowner before doing so.

Is there any waiting period?
There is no waiting period for benefits under PRUSafe Sports.
Is there a free-look period if I wish to cancel the policy without penalty?
Yes, you will have a period of 14 days from the date we confirm the start of your policy to review its terms and conditions.
If you decide this policy is not suitable for your needs, you can cancel the policy within the 14-day review period by accessing the cancellation function under My Policy. We will refund any premium you have paid (without interest), less any amounts you owe us in connection with the policy.
You cannot cancel your policy after this 14-day free-look period.
How do I make a claim?
Please access PRUServices > PRUSafe Sports > Submit a claim in the Pulse by Prudential app. After filling out the form and submitting required documentation, your claims will be processed.
